Kingscliff Beach Hotel - Saturday March 16th 2024

With Sarah McLeod (The Superjesus), Screamfeeder and Son Of Jaguar

YOU AM I - beloved Australian rock band with enough runs on the board, awards, stats and shows under their belt to enter legend status have announced show dates nationally. After a quiet year, and with some cities having not seen a You Am I headline show for over 3 years these shows are well overdue. This show in conjunction with Great Southern Nights and ARIA is a one off special extension of the tour.

Sarah McLeod is a founding member of the 3-time aria award winning band the superjesus. With a successful career spanning over two decades, Sarah is an inductee into the South Australian Music Hall Of Fame. Sarah has released 3 albums with the superjesus and 3 solo Albums. Over recent years Mcleod has expanded her creative enterprises to include treading the boards in Green Day’s critically acclaimed American Idiot alongside Grinspoon’s Phil Jamieson and Magic Dirt’s Adalita. In 2022 Sarah embarked on a national tour with Shake & Stir’s powerful adaptation of Jane Eyre. McLeod composed the sound track, performs it live on stage on piano, whilst also performing a host of dark And diverse characters. Sarah is the ambassador to Both brick Lane Brewery and the Airlie beach festival of music - with her strong work ethic and raw talent - Sarah is known for consistently delivering professional and vibrant work.

Screamfeeder have been playing with You Am I forever. Message from The Band - "Big Day Out on the Gold Coast, early '93 I reckon. Here's Tony with Tim, side of stage watching Teenage Fanclub! I remember touring Europe with one cassette which never left my walkman, YAI first album on one side, Buffalo Tom on the other. I fell asleep to it every night. So good. Being in England before Kitten Licks came out, and I got a copy of Hourly Daily on cassette, I listened to it every single day, completely hooked... We're thrilled to be joining them for two more shows in March."

Sons of Jaguar - Born out of a desire for nothing more than drinking a few cold beers and playing some sweat drenched rock n roll with your mates. The line up is classic guitar, bass and drums that is inspired by the best of 60’s, 70’s, 80's and 90's rock, garage, punk and grunge. The sound is loud, upbeat, melodic, loose and hip shaking, just as good rock n roll should be. See you at the bar!
